Mentor Walks with Nora Denzel
What is a Mentor Walk?

What is a mentor walk?

A mentor walk is a 60 to 90 minute meeting or hike with Nora Denzel.  If you are local to Silicon Valley, it's a hike on one of the local trails during the week.  If you aren't local, it's a phone call.

The 'fee' for a mentor walk is a tax-deductible donation to the YWCA of Silicon Valley.

Suggested Donations

There is no 'standard' donation.  People have given between $50 and $5,000 dollars to support all the YWCA does for the county such as:

  • TechGYRLS®
provides underserved girls, ages 8-14, with a safe, girls-only environment for exploring the world of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
  • Child Care
provides high quality, licensed child care hundreds of children each year.
  • Human Trafficking Public Awareness Campaign:
Working with the U.S. Department of Education the goal is to increase public awareness around this and to provide the community with tools to identify and report human trafficking violations.
